Day 2 of the Quantum is now behind us, and the 1,023 entry field is now down to just 22 players. They have bagged their chips and will return tomorrow at 7pm for Day 3, where the plan is to play down to our Quantum Champion. 41 players secured themselves a payday today, and the lucky winner is set to take home a cool $50,000 cash prize along with the WCC Champion’s Trophy.
Players will return to their same seats to start Day 3, and a full redraw will take place once they reach 18 players, and once again when they reach the final table of 10.
The chip leader is Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perreault, who is back from a successful trip at the EPT in Barcelona. Noeung Troeung bagged the second biggest stack, added a few extra chips to close the night as he eliminated Danny Freitas on the last hand of play.
