Cards are in the air in just a few moments in this second of two starting flights of the Card Player Poker Tour, and today will be the final chance for players to participate in this 13th event in the World Cup of Cards at Playground Poker Club.
Yesterday’s flight saw 18 players bag chips from a starting field of of 76 entrants, with Blake Tarbell leading the Day 2 qualifiers. Many notables and regulars were present in the field, some of which will be back today to take another shot in this next-day re-entry. So far only 14 players have bought in to this flight, but with a $400,000 guarantee set on the event we can expect players to start flooding in shortly.
Players start with a 30,000 stack and will play through 14 levels of 45-minutes before bagging their chips onto Day 2, set for 12pm tomorrow, Sunday the 27th of August. Late registration is open for 6 levels of play, allowing entries up until 4pm.
See you on the felts!
