Event #14 in the 2017 World Cup of Cards was a $300 + $30 NL Hold’em Mix Max tournament. This format features progressively smaller tables as the tournament progresses, and as such is a terrific test of poker ability. The tournament attracted a total of 88 players, generating a shade less than the guarantee – thus the final prize pool was the $30,000 that had been guaranteed. This was distributed according to the following table. Note that a player deal was made when the 5-handed final table was reached. This deal saw $600 and the Champion’s Trophy reserved for the winner and the remaining prize pool distrubuted by giving Daune Fernandex $6,250 while the remaining prize pool was chopped evenly – giving the other 4 players $4,100 each. This deal is reflected in the official prize table below.
