Fakher Alizai was short-stacked during the recent break, holding around 300,000. He ran it up to 1.2 million in the first few hands of level 22 before he opened a hand to 95,000 from middle position. Play folded around to Allan Puzantian in the big blind, who moved all-in and found a call from the original raiser.
Allan failed to improve on the board, and payed his opponent the 1,195,000 he owed after the hand, leaving himself with just under 200,000 behind. He tried to spin it up in the next hand but was ultimately eliminated in 57th place.
