Yesterday saw Event 31, a $300 + $30 5-card PLO 8-max with re-entries, play down to 9 Day 2 qualifiers. They played 12 30-minute levels, after which their belongings were bagged onto today’s Day 2. Alex Plourde made a last minute push to get away with the lead, with the help of a rivered royal flush. He has 50% more chips than Arthur W., his closest rival.
Play will endure tonight until the 5-card PLO Champion is crowned. 5 players will make the payouts, with $5,800 reserved for the winner.
As a reminder, here is the list of Day qualifiers with their counts to start the day. The kick off is now. Good luck to all finalists!
