Another event in the World Cup of Cards is in the books, and Fabian Lacroix has been crowned champion of the $100 + $15 + $25 NL Crazy Pineapple 8-Max Bounty.
101 players turned up for the event, which featured $25 bounty awards for every elimination that took place. The final 11 locked in an additional payout based on their finish, with the lion-share reserved for the eventual winner. Once play reach 4-handed, stacks were quite shallow and the players decided to do an even chop, leaving aside the required $307 difference for the eventual winner.
Before long, only two players remain in contention of becoming our Event 11 champion, with Brian Morgan starting heads-up play with the chip lead over Fabian. Both players were heavy on the trigger, with most hands resulting in an all-in situation. The cards were landing in favour of Fabian, who managed to chip his way into the lead in a matter of minutes.
