Today marks the beginning of a very special event – the Strangers in the Night Poker Fundraiser, in support of the Strangers in the Night charity initiative. This is a 3-Day tournament with 5 starting days (Days 1A to E). These five starting flights will run today at 1:00pm and 7:00pm, Monday at 7:00pm, and Tuesday at 11:00am and 7:00pm. Day 2 will follow on Wednesday August 30th at 7:00pm and the final day will be held on Monday August 31st at 7:00pm.

Two things make this event special. First – the event is hosted by hockey legend Larry Robinson who will be here for the event and will bring friends like Guy Carbonneau and others. Second – the entire tournament fee paid by each player – $25 per entry – will be given as a charitable contribution to an amazing organization: Strangers in the Night. When the dust has settled, we’re confident this will amount to a sizeable contribution to this worthy cause.
