When Tom Kim Tien raised the 50K big blind to 100K from the under-the-gun position, Kurt Vaters made it 225K to go. Patrick Piché, holding Queen of Hearts Queen of Spades, did not waste any time and shoved his 795K stack in the middle. He got a call from Vaters’ 8 of Diamonds 8 of Hearts.

The flop came queen high with 2 diamonds, and Kurt Vaters went on to hit a runner-runner flush! Ouch. Patrick Piché walked away from the table, unsteady. What a bad beat. Nevertheless, he cashes $2,400 for his 6th place. Good work!

We missed Cassidy’s hand, but know that David Bolduc Hamel’s King of Diamonds Queen of Clubs could not pass his opponent’s Ace of Diamonds King of Hearts. Failing to hit a queen, Cassidy takes $1,350 for his 8th place, while David takes home $1,750. Good job boys!

Action is fast in the Mega Stack Turbo, and it will get faster with the blinds now at 40K/80K/a10K. The final came in a hurry, and already 2 players were ejected from it, Ian Armorer (pictured) leading the way.
