Today’s $100 + $10 Limit Hold’em tournament saw 39 players take to the tables to play this venerable form of Texas Hold’em and the field was made up of a wide range of players from experienced old hands at the game who probably “grew up” in poker playing limit to wily pros like Jean-Philippe Piquette who hasn’t played a $110 tournament in a long time – but wanted to support the spreading of the fixed limit game.
When the dust settled, the champion was local pro Jason Conforti, a fixture in all kinds of games at Playground Poker Club and one of the stars of last year’s World Cup of Cards.
Event #25 Champion: Jason Conforti, $1,400.00
Final hand of the tournament
2nd place: Ken Ransom, $1,003.00
