We missed Ivan’s elimination hand, but when we got to the table, Alex Plourde was stacking his chips. Carlo Nini had previously caught up to Alex, and got the temporary lead.

Players are now on break in the 5-card PLO Event, and moments before that break, the last of Andy D’Alessandro’s chips were blinded out, bringing the tournament in the money. The actual chip distribution reflect how Alex Plourde managed to take advantage of Andy’s absence, putting pressure on his opponents, doing his chip leader job.

In the first few hands of the final table, Ivan Driard knocked out Jonathan Poissant, and then Carlo Nini eliminated William Blais. Play is now 6-handed, and with one 25K dead stack and 5 prizes on the screen, action will be interesting, as no one will want to let a dead stack into the money, and the next smallest stack is Mark Bosman’s 100K.
