As expected, the Bounty Event is booming. Play has just entered level 3, and the guarantee has already been destroyed. Some familiar faces are in the crowd, including many staff members, but also some visitors from the cash side, who were waiting for the great Bounty to show up on the tournament floor.

After 36 Events across 31 days of competition and over $6 million in prizes paid, the World Cup of Cards 2017 and its partypoker Live Events is coming to an end. It is with great pride and satisfaction that we look back on the last month, and with great anticipation that we look forward to the next Playground Poker Club series.

The closing Event, as per the Playground tradition, is a nightly Bounty tournament. The buy-in is $200 + $30 + $100, with $200 going into the prize pool, and $100 going to your own personal Bounty. It is usually a crowded tournament, partly because its format is a player-preferred one, and partly because registration for this tournament is open to our staff. They have been working extremely hard over the last 4 weeks to bring you the best poker experience a player can dream of, and it is now time for (some of) them to let loose a little bit and mingle with the players. Look for the dealer badges around the tables!

With a $40,000 guarantee, players are sure to see some really good-looking numbers in the payout table, which will be found here as soon as it’s made public. Players will start with 20,000 chips, play 20-minute levels, and action will unfold with 8 players per table.

From the whole Playground staff, thank you for helping us make the World Cup of Cards an amazing success, and have fun in the Bounty!

With 66 players at the tables, cards are now in the air!
