Event #9 in the World Cup of Cards was a $200 + $20 NL Hold’em Survivor tournament. In a Survivor event, play continues until 10% of the field remains and then the prize pool is split evenly. In this case, with 14 players remaining the players chose to adjust the prize pool to pay 3 preliminary places – 14th, 13th, and 12th, and to divide the remaining money among the 11 players left.
