Event #11 of the World Cup of Cards, the $150 + $25 Strangers in the Night, rolls on this afternoon with Day 1B, the second of three starting flights for this three-day event. Day 1A was held last night and drew 202 entries. The third and final starting flight will be held tonight at 7:00pm.
This tournament permits unlimited re-entries for the first six levels of play on each Day 1 so we are likely to see many players take an aggressive approach with their 25,000 chip starting stacks. There will be 30-minute blind levels for each Day 1, but on Day 2 the blind levels will lengthen to 40 minutes.
The cards are now in the air, but players have until 2:15pm to get in on the action and play for their part of the $65,000 guaranteed prize pool. Good luck to all!
