With three players left, the group decided to ask for the numbers on an ICM chop. Once the numbers were read out, all three agreed to their proposed shares. With this out of the way, it would be easier for the two short stacks to shove all in, hoping for a miracle. Now, rather than grinding it out deep into the morning hours, they would be able to take their pay and leave with their heads held high, no matter the circumstance.
Not more than 5 minutes after the chop, we lost Harry Chaimowiz. He will collect an ICM-adjusted 3rd place prize of $3,250. A great day of poker! Well done.
