The $100 + $10 NL Short Deck Hold ‘Em Re-entry was only supposed to pay the final nine players, but such was the camaraderie with this small group that they collectively decided to subtract $15 from each of the top-9 prize amounts in order to free up $135 for the player who finished in 10th.
That player was Mark Ballance, visiting from lovely Saskatchewan.
The final table will consist of only 9 players, and so with Mark’s ouster the group grabbed their chips, put them into racks and headed to table 59, where the tournament will play until a winner.
Congrats to Mark for finishing in the money, and good luck to the rest in their journey to #1.
