Now down to the final two tables, there was a lot of early action in the last hand on table 60. When the dust settled, Jushia Jackson had eliminated Brett Hart and the field shrank down to 15.
The hand began with a 2.5X raise by Giancarlo Santolin UTG, which was called by three players before Brett shoved on the big blind for about 16,000.
Giancarlo took a couple of minutes thinking about it with a furrowed brow, eventually folding. He didn’t like it. The 16,000 was called by chip leader Jamie Sequeira, but when Jushia shoved over top for more than 100,000 Jamie bowed out and it became a heads up affair.
Once it was clear his night was done Brett took his leave. But he wasn’t the most upset player at the table this hand, that honor was reserved for Giancarlo who shared the unfortunate fact that he had folded K-Q, a hand that would have more than tripled him up had he stayed.
Oh well! He lives to play another hand…
