The wild action continues in the Craze Pineapple Bounty. The players in the field are finding ways to play big pots, with three-bets and pre-flop all ins remaining the norm on most tables. The bounties continue to work their magic and build big pots. A hand that was just played on table 31 offers a nice example.

With the blinds at 800/1.6K, Lynn Phan, who had been quite active up to that point, opened the action by raising all in for something in the neighbourhood of a dozen big blinds. The action folded around to David Dusome, in the hijack, who tried to go for an isolation raise and go bounty hunting. But Markus Cara, on the button, woke up with a hand strong enough to call off his stack so it became a three-way all in.

The flop fell 8 of Diamonds 6 of Diamonds Queen of Spades, the players chose their discards and tabled their hands. It was Ace of Hearts 5 of Spades for Phan, 7 of Hearts 7 of Spades for Dusome and King of Spades King of Hearts for Cara. Although Cara’s over pair was in the lead, Phan had a  live ace and Dusome had outs thanks to his open-ended straight draw. The turn brought the Jack of Clubs, providing no help to anyone, and the river produced the Ace of Spades, giving Phan a triple up! Cara took the side pot from Dusome, but all three players remain in contention.
