The players have just returned from their first 15 minute break of the day, and level 7 is now underway. The end of the players’ break also marks the end of late registration.

We now have 114 entries. There were 23 bullets re-fired and the total prize pool has reached $22,261, more than double the $10,000 guarantee. The top 20 players are in the money: 20th spot will walk away with $260, and today’s champion will take home $5,021.

During the break, we counted the chips, and determined that Francis Collins has opened up a marginal lead over Gary Lucci. Francis has 102,000 chips, but Gary’s stack is only 5,000 chips shorter, clocking in at 97,000.

The stack average currently stands at 35,747.

It’s a long way to the finish line, and Francis and Gary  still have a lot of poker to play before they can reach the final table. But, clearly  both are off to a very good start.

Name | Nom Stack | Tapis
