It’s cold, but it’s also a beautiful sunny Friday here in Montreal.
So far today we’ve had an excellent turnout at WPTDeepStacks Day 1A, the first Day 1 flight for this tournament. At this point there have been 153 entries (including 35 re-entries), and right now there are 85 players still seated.
Late registration will remain open for 75 more minutes.
New players can enter this unlimited re-entry event until the beginning of level 10, which starts at 6:30PM, directly after the 1-hour dinner break (which begins at 5:30PM). At the moment the average chip stack is only 54,705, so considering the fact that players began the day with 30,000 chips, there is still plenty of time to join the group and make your way up the leaderboard.
