Event #17 Day 1B of the World Cup of Cards, the $1,500 + $150 WPTDeepStacks is up and running. Today is the second of three starting flights for this much lauded event, with Day 1C set to kick off tomorrow. Day 1 play involves 15, 40-minute, levels, and those who advance to Monday’s Day 2 will battle it out until the final table is reached. Day 3 is set to begin on Tuesday, and the competitors will play until a champion is crowned.
This event features a guaranteed $750,000 prize pool, and a tournament structure that allows for unlimited re-entries until the beginning of level 10. Players will begin each starting flight with 30,000 in chips, which translates into 300 big blinds!
