When the tournament reached hand for hand play, the clock was at 35 minutes left, and with 2 minutes wound down for every hand played, reaching the bubble would take 18 hands – which seemed like an impossibility, considering some of the stacks in play at the moment. However, 18 hands were played and only 1 of the 2 eliminations required occurred – so players are indeed taking their break.
