Johnson Phanyaseng started the day 3rd in chips, but he has been eliminated in 8th position from the final table of the WPTDeepStacks. He lost a substantial portion of his starting stack just a few hands earlier when he called Karim’s 3b all in holding 
and lost to Karim’s 
– he was left with just about 1M in chips.
The end of his journey in the tournament came when he got his final 956K in holding 
. A third player got out of the way, but Daniel Le found the call holding

board and that was the end of Johnson’s tournament.
