The stage is set for Event #17 of the World Cup of Cards, the $1,500 + $150 WPTDeepStacks. Today is the first of three starting flights for this prestigious event, with Day 1B running tomorrow and Day 1C on Sunday. Each Day 1 will play for 15 40-minute levels, and those who advance to Monday’s Day 2 will play until the final table is reached. Day 3 will run on Tuesday and play until there is a winner.
This event features a $750,000 prize pool guarantee and a format that permits unlimited re-entries until the beginning of level 10 on each Day 1. Players will start each starting flight with 30,000 in chips, or 300 big blinds, some seriously deep stacks!
