The $100 + $10 Freeze event at the World Cup of Cards is slowly winding its way towards a champion. We have lost over half of the starting field, and now there are only 41 players remaining. Soon we will be down to only four tables, and the chip stacks will consolidate further.
At this point our leader is Steven Dubois-Daigle, boasting a chip stack of almost triple the average. But two of the top three from our last chip count are still in contention, with David Dusome and Wayne Obrien still quite high on the list.
Can Steven keep it up? Will David or Wayne pass him soon? Or will some unknown player make their way past all three to lead at the next break? We’ll find out soon enough!
