Charles Kamoun takes the pot

2019/02/03 - 20:33 by Playground Poker

Level 4 is winding down to its conclusion at the WCC Event #20. The Super Bowl half-time show is up on the big screens, and the poker is starting to heat up.

We now have 75 entries, and nine players who have fired their, one and only, second bullet. The prize pool has reached $17,000 and the winner is now guaranteed $4,000.

At table 60, Charles Kamoun stole a pot with a timely raise. Preflop, Michael McKinnon raised to 550. Tu Kham Tran, Arun Kumar Singh, Katsurhiro Muto, Charles, and Marc Lavergne all called.

When the dealer revealed the flop, 2 of Spades 8 of Hearts Jack of Hearts, Tu Kham bet 1,600. Katsurhiro, Charles and Michael called. Arun and Marc both mucked.

When the dealer snapped the turn card onto the board, 5 of Hearts, Charles went all in. Michael, Tu Kham, and Katsurhiro all mucked their cards.

There’s still a little more than an hour until the end of late registration closes, and the second half of the Super Bowl is just about to kick off. So, if you’re interested in playing a little No Limit Hold’em, and want to watch the Patriots and Rams at the same time, head on over to Playground Poker to join in on the fun and excitement.
