The final starting flight in the last of the marquee events in the 2019 World Cup of Cards at Playground is just getting underway in the Tournament Hall. Yesterday’s Day 1A attracted 139 entries, and if history is any indication, Day 1B should be quite a bit larger – meaning the prize pool should balloon to well over the official prize pool guarantee of 250K.
Yesterday’s starting flight saw 26 players qualify for Day 2 in the event, and everyone who lasts in the event to the end of level 16 will join them in the hunt for the prizes on Day 2. The tournament permits one entry and one re-entry per Day 1, so even players that took a shot yesterday can take another chance today in Day 1B. The registration and re-entry period is open until 4:00pm today, so there’s plenty of time to make your way to Playground and jump in the action!
Good luck to all playing today!
