Samuel Barre and Justin Beers were both knocked out in back to back hands by the same player just now at the Card Player Poker Tour final table. The player that sent them packing was Amir Babakhani.
Samuel’s final hand was a preflop shove in which Amir’s A-Q defeated his own A-J. He finishes in 10th for a prize of $5,630.
Justin met his fate the next hand, as his pocket preflop shove with a pair of 8s met Amir’s K-9 that paired a King on the flop. Justin finishes 9th and takes home $6,680. Well done to both players!
