Danny Ibrahim has had a wild few hands.
The latest began with Patrick Braga raising to 125,000 from the big blind, which was raised by Danny to 400,000. The small blind took a walk and Patrick shoved over top of the 400,000 for the rest of his stack. Danny called and they both flipped their hole cards. Patrick had a , but Danny had him dominated, holding a . The board was dealt , and that was it for Patrick.
Patrick’s 5th place earns him a healthy $14,740.
After Patrick’s elimination the final four requested the numbers for an ICM chop, just out of curiosity. With the top four prizes totaling $160,000, the results were interesting.
Once the numbers were read out, the players were required to put aside $6,000 for the winner. They decided that an even split of $1,500 each was unacceptable, so Michael stepped up to make the deal work, offering to take $200 off each of the other three players’ amount of $1,500. This way, he would pay $2,100 and the others would chip in $1,300 each.
After that was factored in, Luigi’s portion became $46,040, Amir’s $40,180, Michael’s was $28,600 and Danny was at $42,070.
With that, the deal was done, everyone agreed to their cuts, and play will now continue for the trophy, 1st place bragging rights and the extra $6,000. Good luck to all!
