The money bubble has just burst on Event #24.
The frantic pace of play seen throughout most of this tournament came to a grinding halt in the lead up to the money bubble, which took about a dozen hands of hand-for-hand play to resolve. Eventually, it was the short stack in the field, Ivan Driard, who made his exit in twelfth place and put the rest of the field in the money. Driard hung on for as long as he could, but the blinds caught up with him and he was reduced to a single 5K chip before going all in from his small blind. Andreas K made a pre-flop raise to isolate from the big blind, creating a heads-up situation, and prevailed in the hand.
The remaining players are now in the money and about to leave on their next break. Stay tuned for a leader board update.
