The surreal action continues on table 32, as Andreas K just took down another huge pot in an unlikely fashion.
Andreas was under the gun in seat one when the blinds were 1K/2K and bumped it up to 4K. The action folded to Joey “Birdman” Boczek in seat four, who raised it up to 14K. Fairly standard so far, but everything that followed was anything but standard. The player in seat six, Calvin Lake, raised all in out of turn, as the player in seat five, Andres Ojeda, was about to make the call. Ojeda went ahead and made the call, and Lake was bound to his out of turn action. The raise led to folds that brought the action back around to Andreas, who quickly made the call. From there, Boczek went all in over the top, forcing Ojeda to fold and was called by Andreas. Hands were tabled:
Andreas:
Boczek:
Lake:
The board ran out
, giving Andreas the pot after turning a pair and rivering a second. The players at the table took a few moments to scrutinize the hands, as they tried to figure out exactly what happened and who won. Once it became, clear a player at the table was heard asking “is this real life?”
The action continues in level 11 with 27 players remaining.
