It is 7PM down here at Playground Poker Club, and that means it’s time for Event #6 in the 2019 World Cup of Cards, the $100 + $10 Survivor. This tournament is a freezeout, meaning that there are no re-buys or re-entries. It features a guaranteed $10,000 purse, and is played 10-handed.
Players start with 20,000 chips and will make their way through 20-minute levels until we find a group of winners.
Group of winners, you say? Why yes. The special thing about a Survivor tournament is that the field will continue play until only 10% remain, and then everyone splits the money. That’s right, you heard correctly. Every single player in the final 10% will receive an equal share.
What’s not to like?
For those players that may not have won a tournament but still feel like they have a chance, this could be an opportunity. What better way to show that you deserve to be considered in the top 10%?
