Event #8 of the World Cup of Cards, the Grand Prix Canada, will continue to gain speed this afternoon as the sixth live starting flight, Day 1F, gets underway. Yesterday’s live flights drew progressively larger fields so expect that trend to continue for each of today’s three starting flights.
Players will start with a hefty 100,000 chip stack to race their way through the 18 levels of scheduled play before bagging for Sunday’s Day 2. The event’s front runner, Samuel Roussy-Majeau, has over 3 million in chips waiting for him on Day 2 so today’s players will have their work cut out for him to reach the pole position.
Good luck to all!
