It’s packed here at Playground this Sunday for the Grand Prix Canada Day 2, with almost every table in the room full of players. And with so many tables operating at once, it is sometimes hard to identify where the action is, since it’s everywhere.

But when table 45 erupted just now in an otherwise quiet room, it was an indication that there was something to see. There was! Mohammadamin Khalilian had just held against his opponents’ Ace of Spades Queen of Diamonds with his Ace of Clubs Ace of Diamonds on a 5 of Spades 3 of Diamonds King of Spades 4 of Spades 4 of Diamonds board.

But that wasn’t what had everyone talking.

Apparently this was the third time in four hands that Mohammadamin had pocket Aces! To win at poker you have to be good and you have to be lucky. But sometimes you just have to be lucky!
