Fabio Luongo is often seen during big events here at Playground and recently seems to have bumped his game up a notch or two, appearing more often on leaderboards and final payout tables. He was among the leaders earlier today, and in the past level or so has accumulated enough chips to rejoin the leaderboard.
Just now he busted his neighbour to the right, Allan Yergeau. Allan opened the action with an open shove from utg+1 for just under 3.5M in chips, and Fabio made the call. There were some tough decisions for a couple of the other players yet to act – but in the end, everyone folded and the two players revealed their hands.
Fabio was in great shape but the flop brought a few new possibilities for Allan: . The turn came and neither was the river the diamond Allan needed to make his flush, and Fabio’s Kings held. He’s now up to 14.6M in chips.
