Chip leader Samuel Miranda just doubled up his neighbour on the left Samuel Barre.
The hand began with a raise to 2.5M by Breyer Calvert that chased all but four players from the hand. Both blinds (Samuel Barre Fabio Luongo) stayed, along with Samuel Miranda on the button.
Flop:
The table checked around to Miranda on the button, who bet 4.7M. Fabio and Breyer bowed out, but Samuel Barre was game. A was dealt on the turn, at which point Samuel Barre checked. Perhaps hoping to push him out of the hand with the power of his chip lead, Miranda shoved.
He was instantly called by Samuel Barre. He showed down a pair of 8’s – Barre had made a set on the flop. Miranda’s
couldn’t compete, and the dynamics at the table shifted. Players are now on break.
