Play has just resumed in Day 3 of the Grand Prix Canada, Event #8 in the 2019 World Cup of Cards. Play will continue throughout the evening until a champion emerges – so it may end up being quite a long evening!
The players are seated in an elongated “L” shape along the back wall of the Tournament Hall. There are 5 tables to start, and the tournament is 8-handed, so the first table will break when 32 players remain, then at 24 players left, and finally there will be redraws at 16 players remaining and for the final table of 9 players.
