Dale Guenette has been nurturing a small stack for most of the day, but with 17.3M left and blinds up to 1M/2M, he chose to open shove from utg. There were two quick folds, and then Chris Turnbull went in the tank… but eventually folded. Both Sam Miranda and Sam Barre then folded, and action was on Fabio Luongo – who called and slammed his 
on the table. Dale held 
and was well behind.
Until the flop, that is. The flop was dealt: 
– Dale had flopped the Broadway straight! Fabio’s Aces suddenly looked very small, and the 
on the turn removed one opportunity to make his own straight for a chop, and the 
was a brick on the river for Fabio. Luckily for him, though, he’s been around poker long enough to have seen everything before, so though he was suprised, this turn of event won’t likely phase him much at all.
