32 players bagged chips tonight. These bags will have no time to get comfortable in the storage room, for they will be reopened at 1:00pm sharp tomorrow afternoon. 341 players will start Day 2, led by Donald Cowie who exploded Day 1O this morning, and will play 14 levels, after which the Event will halt until Monday’s Day 3.
Jean-François ”ZeroBoss” Marin was the chip leader for the last 2 hours, and ended tonight’s flight with a whopping 1,597,000. Brian Van Bart (1,584,000) experienced a sudden boost in the last round, and almost stole his pole position. They rank 4th and 5th in the Day 2 qualifiers list. They can now enjoy a much deserved rest before tomorrow’s continuation. Below Marin’s photo is the list of qualifiers for Day 1Q.
