The 24 who survived Day 1C of Strangers in the Night have bagged their chips, and Stuart Taylor now leads the Day 2 qualifiers after completing his flight with 350,500. He arrived at Playground Poker Club this afternoon as one of the 8 remaining players in Day 3 of the Card Player Poker Tour, where he battled his way into a 3rd place finish. He then jumped into this 3rd flight of Strangers in the Night and continued his upward trend, slowly building his way to the overall chip lead heading into Day 2.
Cristian Muset also put on a solid performance and steadily chipped his way to a 300,500 finish, currently second overall. Full player-reported chip counts from Day 1C are listed below, and will be shortly added to the combined end of Day 1 results.
Two more flights remain in this 16th Event in the World Cup of Cards, and with a $100,000 guarantee set we can expect tomorrow to be action-packed. Don’t miss out! Day 1D starts at 11am (with late reg. until 1:15pm) and Day 1E at 7pm (with late reg. until 9:15pm).
